hey Everyone,

Eric Prydz (pronounced prids) is palying at Garden on Easter Sunday. For those of you familiar with his (rather annoying) chart hit, expect something a little different. We're talking butt shakin' bassline electro-house, real floor filling numbers, and not a hint of cheese in sight! (His essential mix is online at the BBC ONE site this week for a taster)

Hope to see you there!

now this is do-able as i can spend most of easter monday in me scratcher !!! ...and indeedy, mr prydz leads the swedish house scene which is definitely not just 'call on me' ..but plenty of full-on-non-stop-body-rockin-underground-chooons ...worm, i guess there's no way to get tickets in advance ??? just queue earlier rather than later ??
worm
nope, garden don't do advance tickets, but no matter the queue, they always manage to get everyone in!

I will be on stage doing aerobics dancing in a leotard.

Omg I am so unlucky, I'll miss Timo Maas and now Pryda, I'll be travelling out of germany on both dates. Can somebody ask Pryda at least to come again, maybe he could warm up Sven Väth in Badeanstalt on May huh.gif

Hi all,

I must say that I went to Eric Prydz and enjoyed his set but was extremely disappointed with the crowd. I'm relatively new to Munich and would like to say a bit of the so-called door policy apply in cases like this:

In essence the crowd had too many dick heads who weren't there to dance. I actually saw a bunch of drunken young guys stage diving at one stage...luckily enuff most of the dicks lefts and around 5ish...it got better.

I thought I'd add my two pence worth. wink.gif

Hey stanford, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the crowd - but as someone who goes to Garden every week, I think I can say that it's not normally like that. The high numbers of dickheads were due to two factors - 1) That Eric Prydz has just been in the charts so he attracts people who don't know much about clubbing, and 2) That it was Easter weekend so there were more random people out and about.

I hope you arn't scared off Garden for good, because I think its a good club, and one of the few clubs in Munich that consistently books big djs.

Worm,

It seem's were having a conflab on two posts.

I wasn't sure if that was the case but I kinda of expected the door man would do their job i.e. not let the dickheads in or at least kick them out when they are stage diving.

In ffm, people complained that the door pickers (not bouncers) where hard but they did their job. My feeling is that in Munich they leave too much unused power in the hands of the bouncers which is a bad idea...more picking would suit me fine (that's if I get in!!!).

Stanford - the choosey one!!
