I am currently learning Spanish and need some conversation practice. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
Jimbo
That Mexican place - is it Tapas y Tequila? Pop down there and get to know the staff/owners.
littlebritain
Is that the place on Leopold Strasse nr Murphys?
Jimbo
No, it's here, though not too far from GMs - much better than that shithole near Murph's though.

I have a Spanish Written and Oral exam at the end of September/October in Milton Keynes.

If someone has time to help me prep for it, it would be HUGE help. Starting to worry I"m no where good enough for the exam

I forgot there is a spanish speaking "stammtisch" in Dietrich Strasse 2 every thursday at 7:30, there is people from Germany, Spain, Latin Americam and other countries that get together to speak spanish and they organize tours and visits on weekends too. The place is a restaurant called Dietrich something ( I forgot) and they are always in the back.

Looks like someone wants to practice their English in exchange for Spanish practice:

I saw that you already have an offer, but if you need any help, maybe I could help you, as well. I'm half Mexican, and if I can help you in any way, I'd love to. Send me an email to acrossthenight82@yahoo.com if you're interested. smile.gif

a bit geeky, but you can practice Spanish on a chatroom place here.

Hi, my sister is marrying a mexican guy in March next year, in Mexico and so Id really like to properly start learning Spanish. (he and his brothers/cousins/friends all speak English but his parents and older members on the family dont). I know I cant learn that much in this amount of time but I wanna give it my best shot so I can at least hold a 2 minute hello and small talk conversation with his parents.

So if anyone would be interested in teaching me (focusing on the spoken word), especially you mexican girls (I know there are differences between, the Spanish spoken depending on which spanish speaking country you are from) then drop me a PM or post here.

Muchas gracias!
