Smiles.
Joggers.
People without hats.
Sand sand everywhere. Big piles of it too.
Cafes with open windows and some tables outside.
Bikes. The rate of people taking their bicycles to work has multiplied 10 fold.
The old drunk on my first floor with her open windows, so now I can hear her babble a block away.
your turn.

time to get out of office early and spend the days at a beer garden. Well, not there yet but soon hopefully!
Talking about going without your tights, and skirts.. Can anyone spy anything worth while in englischer gardens yet? Still a bit early I guess. Ahhh nude sunbathing and swimming season is just around the corner...

I spied the pavement! Long time since I was able to walk without snow/ice/slush etc and have to wear chunky boots. The trainers came out today! Still reckon the winter will return though, sceptic(or is is skeptic? - been here too long!) that I am!

True, there's loads more dog poo decorating the streets here than other places I've been, but I rarely seem to step in it. I think my Poo Radar is turned up to maximum while I'm in Munich and I can usually avoid it even at a split-seconds notice.
Except for poo hidden cleverly under snow or leaves. Stupid stealth poo.
I've probably jinxed myself now.

Could do with a night vision poo radar actually. Walking down dog poo lane outside my flat is... interesting in the day and just plain nasty at night

But hell bring on the summer sports!

I´m in a T-shirt with the doors and windows open...Its fabulous. I can´t wait to put my winter coat away. I think I will sit outside and listen to the kids scream today. Too nice to waste!
Agree about the excessive amount of dog poo. Do the dogs not want to get there feet muddy or something? There was this inventions a few years back, called a pooper scooper. I wonder if it ever made it to Europe?

just need to add this. it's great to see all the beer gardens, restaurants and cafe's with their charis and tables out. karlsplatz looks amazing - even though i'm normally not a fan - with people sitting around the dry fountain, lunching and chatting.
hope it stays like this, touch wood.

I spied a thermometer at 17' yesterday. Today the more sensationalist newspapers are forecasting a max temp of 20'C. Maybe it'll reach that, I'm not convinced though. That's only 5' short of what the met. office classifies as a "Summer Day" and when the Freibäder usually open.
I haven't spied the removal of any
wooden encasings from the fountains. I wonder when they'll start.
I spied grit, sand, and salt being swept up and carried away for storage and re-use next year.

We were at chinese Tower and Seehaus Beergarden and had to fight for seats. All of the beer gardens are open. (At least from what I have seen).
I spy... garden chairs, tables and umbrellas on display in V-markt.
