Subject: Minden Day celebrations

Hi Dusty,

Can you please remind all the Branches of the Minden Day celebrations on August 1st 2009? As we now have a programme for the service at the memorial ( see attachment) we really need to know definite numbers of those attending. Herford Branch have got back to me, they will attend with their standard. We would like as many standards as possible. I have managed to provisionally book accommodation, so if anyone wants to stay over, please let me know by July 11th 2009. This date is also for those attending the Minden Day.

Thank you

Petra

it also might have been good if you had bothered to tell people why it was worth commemorating a point in history that the vast majority of people would not have a blinking clue about. For those that are interested: Battle of Minden
