Baby sign language workshops - Hamburg

I thought this might be interesting for young parents in Hamburg: There will be a workshop held in English on baby sign language on July 11th 2009 in the Kindermusik-Studio in Semperstraße 73 in Winterhude from 10:00 to 13:00. The workshop will provide information on the theory and history of baby sign language, practical hints on how to make baby signing part of your daily life as well as a lot of signs to enable you and your baby to communicate before they can talk. It´s easy and makes life with your baby even more fun! With baby signing there will be less stress and a lot of unforgettable moments, when your baby tells you what´s on his/her mind already at the age of 6-9 months! The workshop is 30 Euros per person, 50 Euros per couple.

Help your baby to express their needs and thoughts before they can talk! It´s easy as pie with baby sign language! Just try it! It´s fun, will make your life easier and allows mutual communication long before your baby can actually speak.

Not in the target audience for this (yet!), however I read about it a couple of years ago in a UK newspaper, probably the Independent, and it sounds a great idea. Hope your group continues to do well! Do you (or the parents) get any state support or is it entirely private?
