Dr. Death to plastinate Michael Jackson

Controversial Body Worlds creator Gunther von Hagens plans to preserve the late Michael Jackson’s body in a dancing pose for display using his plastination process, a spokesperson told The Local on Monday.
From The Local

Well that shouldn't take very long.

I read a conflicting report that said he had contacted them for information, but never signed up as a body donor and it was a quote from that organization/ company saying they had no contract to do that with Jackson's body.

I will try to find the article again and post a link.

The director of publicity for Dr. Gunther von Hagens tells TMZ someone claiming to be from Jackson's management team did contact BODY WORLDS several months ago about Jackson's interest in being preserved in plastic.

But, she says, "We can further confirm that Mr. Jackson is not now a registered body donor in the Institute for Plastination's Body Donation Program."

Nooo! I dreamed of this guy last night, he was plastinating his own shoulder blades. Just because MJ was a freak in life doesn't mean he should be exposed and exhibited in death.

Btw, I've heard that the family is arguing about the where and how of the funeral. The brothers seems to want him buried at Neverland and the whole site turned into a commemorative monument kind of place. Why not? It worked for Graceland.
Serenajean1
I would agree. I would pay money to see his freakish playground.

Been to Graceland, it was pretty awesome.

On a side note the mother of the kids has "supposedly" said she will fight for custody, while Jackson's mother "supposedly" intents to fight it to court.

I can hear champagne corks popping throughout the nation as lawyers scramble over each others' greedy butts to represent either side in the custody proceedings. I would farm the kids out to foster families in normal homes so that they get a glimpse of reality before it's too late.

I thought the mother already sold her right to the kids, more than once even.
Serenajean1
That was a myth. She offered to in court, but the judge did not decide that route. It was initially granted, but the judge reversed that. Instead he granted Jacko sole custody. Parental rights are only removed when one parent is proved incapable, in her case that never happened.

During the custody fight that Rowe had with Jackson in 2005, she attempted to give up her parental rights, saying Michael was the greatest father ever. Retired Judge Stephen Lachs, who presided over the hearing, initially ruled her rights were terminated ... but then Lachs reversed his decision.

Here's what happened. We spoke with Lance Spiegel, the lawyer who repped Jackson at the time. Spiegel says under the law, the Department of Children and Family Services must conduct a parental fitness investigation before parental rights are terminated and that didn't happen with Rowe.

So Rowe has never given up any of her parental rights. As a result, under California law, Rowe is now presumed to be the person who will get custody. The only way Rowe can be denied custody is if a court determines it would be "detrimental to the children."

Here's an interview with her from last year: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-...ebbie-Rowe.html

I won't cry for the guy... he's a pedophile freak.
And who made you judge & jury?

As one of the UK minsters said.. Never has anyone soared so high and dived so low..
He could have done a great deal more with his life, what a waste, may he rest in peace.

Yeah, who needs a conviction before the lynching can begin...
You are so right HA.

The court of public opinon has a lower burden of proof than a court of law.
Much lower, A great deal lower.

He was acquitted once and bought himself off once.
Not being able to prove child abuse doesn't mean that it didn't happen.
& it does not mean the abuse did occur.
@sarabyrd As you are a moderator of the forum, let me thank you for this posting.
As someone already posted let the... Vultures and Hyenas... start.
Enough said...

As Good Morning America said - "Michael Jackson touched a lot of people"...

In terms of a loss to music - his death is minor.

MJ's good days were all behind him and he hadn't released anything in ages and it was pretty unlikely that he would have done much in future. Real losses to the entertainment industry are people who died in their prime, while they were still producing. When Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, Jim Henson, Douglas Adams and Jeff Buckley, to name just a few, died, they left unfinished work and would have produced more work that the we've all sadly missed out on now. On top of that, none of them were ever suspected of being kiddy fiddlers.

So what was Jacko going to give us, apart from a few more headlines, further confirming that he was nuts? OK - if you're a fan who bought tickets to his upcoming concert tour, then it must surely be disappointing. But let's not pretend that he wasn't already pretty much at the end of his career and that his death is a big loss to music...

er, there is a brand new album poised to be released at this very moment and 100 further recorded songs that have never been published. i should imagine we will be hearing a good deal much more of MJ. Whether the new stuff is any good though is a different matter - we will have to wait and see
Serenajean1
They did say he was worth more in death than in life.

If the cd, or rather cd collection as it sounds, is any good I will pick up a copy.

In other news Katherine Jackson (the mom) given temporary control over all of jacksons assets.

Well now that he's died, I have no doubt that a new release will rocket up the charts and stay there. Right now, they could release a duet with Bubbles the chimp and it'd go to no 1...

It's obviously not possible to judge whether the album's any good until it's released, but every album released since Thriller has become progressively worse and worse, and I don't think it's unfair to say that he was well past his peak.
