I have broken the glass shelf partition in my fridge. Any ideas on where I can find a replacement (aside from stealing from a random house party)?

Oh yeah this reminds me, the glass shelf in my fridge broke months and months ago, so this info would be useful for me too
Though it's handy having more place to store bottles upright now..

Same thing happened to me as well...haven´t looked seriously into replacing it yet, however, I´ll obviously have to do so when I move out. I think this falls into the same category as replacing the toothpicks or tweezers on a Swiss Army knife.

Have you guys asked around? Places that sell fridges new? DIY type places? EBay?

No, not really. Wasn't actively looking tbh, but if anyone wants to tell me/us then I might go have a look

well mine, sorry Silva for hijacking your post!, was the bottom shelf. I'd have to check the model and size. Why Grinner, found a site that can help, or do you have a spare stock in your cellar?

I broke that glass plate in my old fridge in my old apartment, I was lucky there was a glass fitter on Lindwurm str, and I took it in, and asked if they could replace it. A week later I went in and the had a new glass plate for me for about 20Euro (but that was in 98). So, check your yellowpages for a Glas Fabrique in your area.

Glaserei, they do windows and doors and such so I suppose they'll do your table. And do tell how it got busted ...
Ah, the jokes ppl will make about glass tables...
(I shall be checking this thread again later.)

thanks SB.
it got busted when my boyfriend tripped over it. it was the middle of the night he saw I was asleep and didn't want to wake me by switching the light on...well he woke me instead by tripping over the table and breaking the sheet glass in it!
so nothing seedy unfortunately (tho he may have been naked at the time

)
