€6.50 an hour

6.50 is practically a criminal wage. Actually, it is criminal in some countries (The UK, for example).

When people work below a living wage, they are unable to become consumers. This is when a recession turns into a depression.

Henry Ford once said that an industrialist must "make the best goods possible, are the cheapest price possible, paying the highest wages possible". Ford wanted his employees to also be his customers. The man know how the system worked.

Thank God people are so apathetic these days, otherwise there might be a revolution.

Last Monday, Colin helped us to paint our apartment and he did a great job. Not only was he 10 minutes early, he brought his own tools and he was polite, friendly, and extremely patient with the many questions we asked and we learned a lot about painting. Our Hausmeister was impressed with the paint job when he did the moving out inspection yesterday. We were able to accomplish the job much quicker than any of us expected and Colin was extremely conscious of keeping the price low and he would have saved us a lot of money by buying the supplies himself since he knows where to go and what to get. He is obviously capable of doing much more expert work. We will definitely hire him again if we have any more projects like this. Just wanted to add that i am registered in Germany to work for myself so a receipt will be given.

Just want to recommend Colin - he came over to our apartment today to wire up some lights. He was punctual (actually, I think he was early), very friendly and professional, and answered all my questions. It was also nice to chat with him!

He took time to make sure I was happy with everything before leaving. Fantastic price, well worth it, and if we need anything else doing around the house, I know who to contact.

I also wanted to add a note to highly recommend Colin. He came to my house a couple of days ago and helped with an entire myriad of things! Impeccable installation of curtains, shower wrack, window blinds, lights etc... he arrived early and worked extremely efficiently! Like the others, must recommend Colin and his handyman work. He helped me move flats, did an Ikea run ( also came into Ikea with me to help with light fittings as I truly have no idea!), put up curtain rails, the aforementioned light fittings, a bit of furniture assembly. He's very punctual, friendly, knows what he's talking about and hardworking. All in all, happy to recommend him and will be on the phone to him when I next need something doing.
