New in the Trier area

Hello!
I am very new to the Trier area and I am going to be living here as an Au Pair for a year. I would love to meet some people so I won´t be too lonely while I am here. I do not speak German so I don´t have many people to talk to other then the people in the family that do speak English.

welcome to Trier! Where in Trier are you staying? My wife and I live in the south part of the city.
We often ride our bikes, on the weekends, downtown or along the Mosel. Can you borrow a bike?
Where about in the states are you from? I am a Floridian.
