New in Wiesbaden, anyone want to meet for coffee?

I am moving to Weisbaden with my Fiance from London. It would really be nice to meet with some english speaking people. I am looking also for a german language school, english book club and a pilate studio where classes are conducted in English.

I am not working as I left my job to move here with my fiance. However, I would love to look for work when I am settled in and speak enough German.:-)

I am going miss my girlfriends...it would be lovely to meet some nice girlfriends to hang out with..shopping and coffee.

I couldn't help but post a reply as nobody else had yet... I'm also moving to Wiesbaden to start a job July 1!
Currently I'm living in Singapore with my husband, and Jack Russell (Layla) but we are all Australian.

It would be great to meet you and other English speakers as I've definitely missed my friends during our 2 year post here.
There's a few TT posts on gyms and classes in English on this site but I don't think they are very common. I'd also like to get back to some level of fitness. We will live opposite the Kurpark so I'm hoping that might get me out of the house for a walk each morning.

Anyhoo, feel free to PM me and we will try and catch up and perhaps get involved with the regular catch-ups i see the Wiesbaden TT group have going.

I am from Reading, and moved to Wiesbaden 8 months ago with my husband and 2 young children.

I know an American who teaches Yoga, but not sure about pilates.

I'll be here for the first 2 weeks of July and would like to meet up and help you settle in Wiesbaden. Its a lovely place to live - you'll love it!

I am a Singaporean-Chinese moving to Wiesbaden after I completed my notice period (24th June) with my employer in Singapore. It would be nice to meet some English speaking folks for coffee/shopping/exchanging of books etc. until I find myself a new job to keep me occupied.

I have already explored the city centre of Wiesbaden alone during my seven weeks vacation in April/May. With this permanent move (until husband decides to change a job or something), it would be really great to have some English speaking friends to explore the area as well as the surrounding cities and try out activities together.

I would also want to attend German language classes after I have pretty much settled in. I will be living near the city centre (Schiersteiner Strasse) and there is a VHS two streets away from my place which I have yet to check out.

Would love to hear from you guys again. Keep me posted of any meet-ups!

Sorry, just found out that my son has his 'Look&See' at school tomorrow morning and I need to collect him afterwards (12am in Mainz). So it won't be possible for me to join. Bummer.
