what other good drinking games are doing the rounds?
I used to play a drinking game called "Three Man" when being student (ages ago).
All you need is two dices, a funny hat, a group of at least five people - with less the game won't last longer than 30 minutes

- and loads of drinks.
Everyone sits in a circle. The first order of business is to determine the Three Man. This is done by each player rolling a dice in turn. The first to roll a three becomes the Three Man - he's wearing the hat and has to drink any time there is three on the dices. The dices now go around, everybody's throwing both dices.
The basic rules for this game are:
- 1:2 on dices - Three Man drinks (sum to 3)
- 1:3 on dices - Three Man drinks (three on dice)
- Whenever there is a sum of seven on the dices, the player to left of roller drinks
- Whenever there is a sum of eleven on the dices, the player to right of roller drinks
- Whenever the three man throws a three himself, he may pass on the three man hat to somebody else (but he doesn't have to if he's still thirsty

)
- Whenever there is doubles on the dices, the roller may either give the three man hat to somebody else, or create a new rule, or cancel an existing rule.
The possibility to create rules is the actual fun part of this game. There's no limit in phantasy - new rules can be anything, e.g. "whenever somebody throws a nine, everybody wearing white underwear has to drink", or even something not related to drinking, e.g. "whenever there's a four, Onni has to do 15 sit-ups".
