I recommend this spot. Much better than the other dumps if a little bit out of the centre.

Seems the Ukraine vs. England game on Saturday is only being shown on a subscription Internet site: www.ukrainevengland.com, and that'll only work if you have a UK proxy set up.

Of course, it'll no doubt be available in poor quality through other websites of questionable legality.

Still, nice to know where ITV's priorities lie, tossers:

Sure the BBC at least should have a 'responsibility' to ensure these games get on free TV

couldn't agree more chris.. setanta went the way of itv digital in the uk unfortunately and when the games became available none of the tv channels bid as england would probably be already qualified, which has now been proven the case. i hope everyone does the right thing and boycotts it. here that shouldn't be too much of an issue given that it's germany v russia on around the same time.. with the winner likely to finish top of the group and go to the world cup, and the loser probably facing a tricky playoff fixture.

My understanding on this, is that Ukraine has the rights to this, and where asking stupid amounts to British T.V. to show it?
chris999
You are probably right and of course if we force BBC to show a game then the prices would be even higher as those with the rights will know they have a buyer at any price. In which case maybe there needs to be some regulation maybe from within fifa.
I'm afraid this whole idea of "watching big live sporting events" over the internet as been the "future" of broadcasting would not be a positive development.
What next the world cup, wimbledon, olympic games?

The way I understood it was that ITV didn't take up their option and the rights reverted to the Ukraine.

A nonsense qualifier now.

No, I believe the issue is that Setanta Sport had the rights, but went bust in the UK, and so the rights reverted to Ukraine FA.
