Concert: The Flea Market Poets (U.S. rock band) - Munich

American Rock band 'The Flea Market Poets' are returning to Munich after much demand, following their sell out show in Glockenbach Werkstatt in February.

On June 19th The Poets will play Ampere and will be joined on the night by excellent local band 'Missent to Denmark' as support, check them out here

The Flea Market Poets are an eclectic American rock band with roots in Austin (TX) and Baltimore (MD). The band consists of Jason Serious on lead vocals, guitar and keyboards, Christian Chapman on drums, Michael Behnke on bass, Brian Reno on guitars and synths, Grainne McMenamin on backing vocals and Dylan Masells on guitars, bass and percussion. The Poets play a melodic brand of rock occasionally crossing over into Punk and Americana.

They have recently packed out venues in Vienna, Innsbruck, Munich, Prague and Graz to name but a few. Their new album 'Dirty Days' is generating great hype and will be featured in July issues of Rolling Stone Germany, Notes Magazine and Hurricane Rock Mag and Hallo München.

I'm on for this, went to the last one and it was fun. The lads were really sound, they stayed back drinking with everyone after the set.

Just to Let you know that we will be playing acoustic versions of some of the tracks off the album tomorrow night on HurricaneRock www.hurricane-rock.de at 8pm on the RockFest show and will be giving away free tickets to Friday's gig.

Missent to Denmark are one of the best bands in munich. very muchly to be recommended.

The drummer also has the most amazingly fantastic glasses since Elvis Costello. Lovely bunch of chaps.
