I don't mind organising it if it's on 18th or 26th. I'll probably be watching the rugby on 19th, though.
Food - shall we go Italian, then? Anybody not like Italian food?

Yep, my votes with Italian, and alternative, anything BUT Indian.

If you're going on 18th, Topsy, can I come along later after my belly-dancing class? Around 10 pm? Maybe I could still get a pizza?

Well, it's looking good for the 18th March, isn't it?
Complete with bellydancing demonstration from Nicky at around 10pm, if I understood correctly

The Vecchia Masseria is a good Italian place, shall I just book a table there?
Who is in, anyway?

We've already seen Nicky belly dancing at the first over 35s dinner

Mighty good she was too.
Topsy. That's a great restaurant. And as we both know, the wine is great there

Count me in as a definite.

Don't know if my liver can stand going back there with Petal *and* Topsy! Might actually make this one though (but keep reminding me - have brain like sieve for dates/times).

Not a huge Italian fan, but should be a good night out. I can always just drink wine! Where is the restaurant?
Topsy
Mar 3 2005, 11:07 am
It's near
Sendlinger Tor.
Maybe I should start another thread about it, cos this one starts off a bit too general...
We need to think of ideas about where to go for a drinkie-pinkie afterwards. Any ideas, before I start a new thread?

@Topsy,
Count me in. missed couple of 30+s.

oh,
that Italian, where the waiters engage in plenty of gallant hand-kissing, even when worked off their feet...
Yep, the 18th looks good, so I'm in too. Thanks for organizing this, Topsy, and how thoughtful of you to have booked a charming belly dancer for the benefit of the gentlemen 30(+)somethings.

Padres doesn't really have tables, they have a long bar area and 2 small tables, I have never had a problem there, but I am usually one of the first customers at 7, so I can get in 2 hours of happy hour cocktails.
other options- Föhn, Fraunhoffer (sp?), Cafe Forum (no happy hour), Bondi Bar, kilians,

Thanks for organising Topsy and hope to see you all around 10-ish - but I shall leave my dingle-dangles firmly locked in my car. Sorry to disappoint you ...

Was in Padres for the first time last Friday. As Carm says it's just a long bar really and very narrow at that - not really ideal for a large group of people! What about Die Bank in the
Müllerstrasse. Was also there last week - quite groovy and music is ok. Even have a chill out lounge upstairs!!
@Topsy
I'm still on for the 18th and wherever you pick is fine.
