Hey other parents!
My husband and I would love a date night but it's difficult to find a babysitter since we've got no family in Germany and frankly can't really afford a babysitter. Would any other parents be interested in trading off evening babysitting (like after the kids are put in bed)?
Pm me if you're interested!

If you can't afford a babysitter (which often comes non-expensive too) how could you afford a date night out? LOL Just asking
Good luck though...

Hi there,
A Date Night doesn't have to be expensive - the concept is more to have one on one time with your husband / partner. With summer coming a nice bottle of wine, cheese and crackers and an ipod sitting near a lake the Alster would do just the trick.
If one does want to spend more - i.e. movies, dinner out ... yeah, why waste precious money on a babysitter. Good luck in your search.

I dont get the concept though. If I have kids...how should I watch yours ( I gather its sleeping at home?)
Unless the kids are supposed to sleep over?
Anyway its a great idea to try and get some "quality time" without the kids for once

Sheesh.
1. The problem is affording BOTH date night and babysitting. That's easily 100 euro for a night out.
2. Typically, couples have children. So the idea is that one one them sits and the other stays with their own kids. We are separable, ya know.
