Life in the town of Suhl

I'm going to be working in and around Suhl a few days a week as from July. Anyone there or near? Preferably like-minded christian souls but I'd settle for a middle-aged drinking buddy. Realise it may be a bit of a long shot.

Go check out the infamous, or perhaps not-so-famous Moist Corner (I kid you not! ) in Suhl and you should be able to find a few drinking buddies.

Hmmm...the live concerts scare me a bit and when you click on "Angebot" it's empty. Have you been there?

There are only traces of life left in Suhl.
as far as I have heard they are going to tear down a number of houses because people have left the town.
