International speed dating event - Munich

The first ever International Speed dating to be held in a Munich Irish bar will burst onto the Munich Scene, rearranging the lives of English speaking singles over the entire town. If you’re tired of glancing out of the corner of your eye at that girl, thinking constantly about talking to her but doing nothing, or if you’re tired of glancing out of the corner of your eye waiting for the guy to come over and say something as you play with your hair like it’s on fire; Now’s your chance to do something different!

The event will be held with the kind support of Morris and Cranbury&Jamesson Dave in the wonderful atmosphere of Molly Mollones, Haidhausen on Thursday 28th May starting straight after work at 6pm.

Invest 15 Euros (guys) 5 Euros (girls) (much cheaper than the 50 euro you’ll spend plucking up the courage to talk to someone on a Friday night) and voila, you’ve opened the door to something interesting happing in your dating life!!

because there are more blokes unashamed of being desperate and gagging for it than there are women in the same boat? Hell they'd be better paying the women to come, then it would at least be closer to the original ideals of the oldest profession.

I once ripped the piss out of one of my friends for going to a speed dating event. He then met a wonderful girl there, they fell in love and married. I was the one with egg on my face.

Judging by the reply's here so far, it sounds like its going to be a sausage fest... Hope they get more Women in there, otherwise its going to be a very very fast speed date..

Dont think Mollys is doing too well at the moment, again hard to compete with beergardens if the bulk of your customers are older Germans who sip a beer for 3 hours and share a burger. Of all the expat pubs in Munich, Ned Disneys is doing well. The rest are struggling. Pity, as Mollys is a quality gaff, a pub with a restaurants kitchen.

Interesting observation. It's really busy whenever I've been in. But that's usually when sport is on.

Same here.. Every time I go, they always seem to be packed. Even more so if the footie is on.

Footies finished, weren't half as many in for the rugby the other night as normally would be and I drink there regularly (nicest pint of Guinness in Munich). I reckon it'll pick up again with the inclement weather, it's got that lovely rainy day in the pub feel about the place.
