70's & 80's Night at Wasserman

Was in the Wasserman in Elvirastrasse today and saw this !

Saturday 5th March - 60's, 70's and 80's Party.

All Cocktails 4 € and long drinks 4,50€
Any one dressing up gets a free shot

I'm planning on going skiing that day, but assuming I get back in time with no broken bones, definitely count me in!!! Love that kind of music.

The poster actually says that Cocktails are €4.50 and tall drinks €4.00.

Got visitors, totally forgot they were coming, and not sure what they will want to do.

Don't know why I'm doing this but sofar there's Carm, Triple Choc, Madgibson and Smartini arriving late with a possible Kebabmeister. Wassermann was good after the over 30's meal - shall I reserve a table for Toytown? Don't want to be pushy - so if I get a couple of yes's I'll go ahead.

How large is the Wassermann? Was it extremely busy when you went there? I'm trying to get some work friends to come along too... I should know by midweek.

If you get there early, it should be OK. They had a party there before that some TTs went to, and I think there was enough space. But they might limit at the door later on.

Kebab Meister - why don't you reserve us a table then? Just to be sure. Nothing lost.

Okay, a table for 10 people has been reserved at the Wassermann from 7.30pm under the name of Toytown; this apparently was the last table and they had to double check to see if they can even fit 10 people in. They are now fully booked!

Whether it's worth trying later in the week to see if they've had any cancellations and maybe fit a few more people in? Anyone?

Just got the Wassermann to squeeze a few more places on the table. Just to confirm:

Table booked for 14 people under name of 'Toytown' from 7:30pm.

BTW Those arriving early it's probably wise to wait until 8:00pm before ordering cocktails incase they at full price before then!

Thanks for reserving a table. I'm coming along with 3 others. Don't reckon we'll all fit on the table though. Presumably it's ok to turn up anyway even without a reservation?

Reckon we'll be packed in like sardines! Only place to dance will probably be on the tables!(although they'll be full of cocktail glasses!!)

I've never been to the Wassermann so I don't really know what it's like. I would assume it's okay to turn up without a reservation; just get there early if you want a seat!

may well manage to drop by later on; looks like the birthday do I was going to go to may be cancelled. By the sound of it, it'll be standing or dancing room only anyway.

I plan to be there with a bud from work but won't get there till 11 or so but will be sure to call ahead to see if it is too crowded.

Thank you Toytown- even though I just barely made it before midnight I had a great time and met some really cool people. And the music videos were a blast.

Well I sure had a great time! The price of the cocktails surely helped! Met some new people that I hadn't met before too which is always good! Everyone looked like they were having a good time though I had to leave after midnight 'cos of train times (I live out the way a bit! )

No hang over today, but man I have the munchies! The snow last night surprised me when I came out of the pub at 2am. Thank god for Taxi stands.

Thanks too for organising. I was a bit too tired to enjoy it to the full - but it cheered me up. Also with that many people to serve I found the waitress really friendly.

Thanks for organising an excellent venue and program. Thanks to all for making the evening wonderful.
