Cricket clubs in Leipzig

I was at the Sprachen abend @the villa Leipzig the other night and somebody mentioned that there is a cricket club somewhere in Leipzig, or at least a bunch of people who get together and do some nets. I was told it was in Torostrasse somewhere but headed down there the other day and juding by the look the woman gave me at the only sports club I could find, cricket wasnt on the agenda. Does anybody know anything about cricket in Leipzig, or who I could contact about it? Any help much appreicated, cheers.

I just tried googling it, there were various websites about cricket in Germany, but nothing very useful!

The Deutscher Cricket Bund website lists a bunch of German clubs here and although Leipzig itself isn't mentioned, several potentially-useful email addresses are.

Thanks to all for the help, but I cant find mention of this mythical club on any of the normal sites (Deutscher Cricket Bund etc). I dont suppose any Leipzigers have heard of this club? As I recall from what I was told originally its largely run by expats from the Indian subcontinent.

If you read my link there are plenty references to cricket in Leipzig. Send Sudhi a pm, if he's still an active member he'll put you in touch with some white clothed bores. Or follow the priest's link to Halle cricket club. I'm sure they'll put you in touch with someone in Leipzig with rigorously polished balls.

Well, yes, there are no doubt better places to be than Dresden, but I can't say if Halle is one of these having been there only once, 30 years ago, which hardly counts.
