friend of mine has unfortunately recently been laid off/made reduntant/given the flick/spanish archer from her full time job.

hence she now has to look for other ways to justify her existence on this earth. she is becoming familiar with arbeitsamt bureaucracy as we speak and joining the 5million long queue.

she is willing to work part time god bless, no more than 15 hours a week..anything more and then she wouldnt be unemployed. she is a qualified teacher..she has been told there is a ´threshhold´figure of 165 eur per month only...

does this mean if she earns anything more than 165eur per month and her arbeitslosengeld is docked??

what is the best way to go about it?
she has been told to report all earnings..in this case as a freelance teacher.

is there is anything she should know about it? anyone got an inside line, especially with rgds part time teaching earnings...ie pittance.

cheers
