Hamburg Writers next meetup date

7pm Friday 17.Apr.2009 @ Literaturhaus Café

Sport4Life
We would like to thank all of those who took the time and wrote inquisitive messages, brought in their personal writings and came to the meet-up on Monday.

Our next meet-up will be on Friday the 17th of April at 19h00. We have chosen a more relaxed, and hopefully, suitable location this time around. The "Literaturhaus Café" in Hamburg is a formidable institution well known beyond Hamburg's borders.

Independent of our group, if any of the readers on this forum would like to get to know modern German literature, the Literature House is a good place to start. They also offer workshops for aspiring and professional writers in German.

As for our little group, the details are as follows:

17th of April
19h00/7pm
Literaturhaus Café
Schwanenwik 38
22087 Hamburg

Take the U2 and step off at the Mundsburg subway station. Walking distance from Mundsburg is aprx. 10-15 Minutes.
U2, Uhlandstraße. Walk towards the outer Alster lake.
The Café can be reached from the Lange Reihe, Metrobus 6, Bus Stop: Graumannsweg

Still trying to work out how one makes a living as a English writer in Germany but this seems the place to go! I appreciate any help anyone can give me.. just message me back as it goes straight to my email.. and goodness knows I'm always on my email
