Seeing how it's Lent and I've only been to church once since being here ( ph34r.gif ), I'm definitely going tomorrow. I'm planning on going to the Catholic mass at Allerheilige am Kreuz (Kreuzstr. 10, Sendlinger Tor) for the 18:00 English speaking service. If anyone is interested in joining, I'll be there.

This isn't trying to push anyone to go to mass, just for if someone was looking to go but maybe didn't know where or didn't want to go alone.

P.S. I wasn't quite sure where to put this (because I'm not really trying to make a TT Meetup, just letting people know in case they would be interested in joining)

Didn't know there was mass so late in English. 6 pm??? Can't manage tomorrow but might go some other Sunday. I can never get up in time for church normally! 6 pm sounds civilised. Let me know how it is.

last time I went to A church was my dad's wedding last October...but an actual church service? hmm...August 1997 in Spain...and only cuase it was neat to see for me, and it was in latin.

oh, but I'm not catholic...oh well...enjoy the service

I emailed the English speaking Catholic mission in Munich, and they sent me their Lenten Newsletter. The Sunday masses are at 11am at St. Kilian's Parish Center (Landsberger Strasse, 39/V) and 6pm at Allerheilige am Kreuz (Kreuz Str. 10). They also have Tuesday and Wednesday services at 8pm at St. Kilian's Parish Center.

Wow! 8 pm for late-risers like me. Thanks.

yeah yeah, is this all just a cover for some secret meeting at Kilian's that you don't want to invite the masses to, so you have to speak in code? biggrin.gif
