OFDC - Radical Splinter Group (RSG) - Frankfurt

Taking to heart that the original Old Farts Drinking Club is a thing of beauty and should remain as it was... Some of us more radical Old Farts would occassionaly like to meet a bit more often. here is a venue to hopefully keep all Old Farts happy!

Welcome to the OFDC- Radical Splinter Group!

Some of us are meeting Friday April 3rd at a venue TBD in Sachsenhausen about 6pm. With the weather finally turning wonderfully spring-like the pubs are just calling. Let me know if any venues are prefered.

personally i like the idea of an Ebbelwoi kniepe.
I kind of like Daruth and Schneider at the edge of Altstadt.

let me know if your coming so i can reserve something and give ideas for venue if you want.

Kylie and I are in! 6pm sounds good. We have something later that evening, but we should be able to stay for a couple of hours.

I don't know the Daruth and Schneider, but anywhere around Altstadt is fine for us. Do you have the address of the place? I can't find it in Google.

Hi there Jua! If you subscribe to this 'OFDC RSG' topic in Toytown, and also to the original/main OFDC thread (Old Farts Drinking Club (OFDC) - Frankfurt) then you'll get an email every time someone adds a comment either of the threads, and so you'll easily see when and where we're meeting up.

For instance, the 'main' OFDC is meeting up on Fri 24 Apr. You can see the details on the other thread.

To subscribe to a topic, you simply click on the 'Options' menu in the top-right corner, and choose 'Track this topic'. You can then choose to get an email every time someone adds a message to that topic, or just one daily email digest on days when the topic has new messages, etc.

I was able to subscribe to the OFDC, but when I tried to join the RSG I got an error, saying I was already subscribed. Are the subscriptions linked?

Hi fluglotse1. I don't think they're linked in any way. Just two separate topics, that happen to have some similar words in the title.

I'm subscribed to both topics, separately. I can see this by going to My Controls up in the top-right corner of the page.

Then to Subscriptions > View Topics on the left-hand side of the page.

There it lists the different topics (both OFDC and OFDC-RSG) that I'm subscribed to.

Might be worth trying it again, just in case there was some sort of malfunction or something.

Hiya! Kylie and I might be up for a quick drink on the 8th.

Although we'll just have to see how this week goes first. It's the first week of my new job, so I'm not quite sure what time I'll be home on Friday (I have a fairly long commute).

Pencil me in as a maybe - my Allergies are particularly active in the moment and it will come down to just how bad at the time I leave work on Friday. I definately would like to be there, though, if possible.
