Monty Python DVD evening: Sunday 13.Mar.2005

OK it's here again, was going to do this for Sunday 6th, but unfortunately am not able to, so new date SUNDAY 13th MARCH. Only Rugby on is Scotland v Wales, so am still hoping we get a great group.

How to find me : S-Bahn to Isartor and come out the Thomas-Wimmer-Ring/Tal exit and I am just to the left of the S-Bahn exit or U-Bahn to Marienplatz exit Tal, and walk to the end of Tal, on the left hand side just after the building works/hotel is my street, if you walk past Stadtsparkasse you've gone too far..

OK, have just seen it's Nockherberg on the Saturday. Well it's a 5pm start, so now excuses, you have some recovery time, and what better way to get over a hangover than some great comedy with Monty Python !

Hmmm...that does sound like a good way to nurse my recovery after all that starkbier.

OK, just popping this one back to peoples attention. 2 weeks ! Lots of activities coming up so reserve this one. Day after Nockherberg, and the Rugby, although does clash with second half of Scotland v Wales, (which is really a no-brainer ! Wales to win!) so what better way to nurse a hangover than with hair of the dog, and some laughter !

planning to be there and will be bringing something chocolatey.

I'm in. Um, that's it. Just wanted to say that I was in. That is to say that I am not out. In is where I will be.

Cannot make this in the end...was so looking forward to being de-virginized (I have never seen Monty Python before). You gotta have another one when I am not on crutches

That's no excuse, there is a lift here ! and I am sure we can reserve a spot on the comfy sofa for you !

Does the lift take me from my apartment to yours? Coool. Nah...really hard to manoeuvre around with these crutches...especially in the snow and ice (see that is how I ended up this way!) If I manage to master them by then...perhaps.

Would still like to come.

Still planning on making it. As long as it doesn't clash with any possibility of watching basketball games. Which is going to difficult with all this rugby going on (i.e. I think the rugby fans can take me in a fight for the TV's at the Arc)

Hmmm... Now I see the paddy's day parade is also on this day ! For those of you too drunk to attend that (Starkbierfest Saturday 12th), this is still on. 1 week to go !!

Well the countdown is almost over, so for those of you too hungover, or cannot stand the weather to do the paddy's parade for too long.

@Blimey girl- I think I live pretty close to you now... may head on over so can give you a lift if required.

Wa-heyyy...does that mean we are officially part of the in Schwabing crowd? Thanks for the offer...will let you know...a lift would be most handy dandy. Tom still has the arduous task of finishing up the other apartment though...but if he wants a break then we could conceivably do this. I may be de-virginized after all (Did I say that out loud?)

Well the weathers not looking too gut for the St. Paddy's parade, so last reminder. Watch some Monty Python !

looks like I won't manage to get away from (yep, the usual) work that typically needs to be done by tomorrow a.m., so I may have to give this Monty P. get-together a miss. Shame, I'd been looking forward to it... Hope you all enjoy it.

It is a shame .. well if things are looking better later come along, as I guess it will go on a little while !

@Pepper- alas, looks like I'm not going to make it over either...

OK. Ahh... Well hope we have some people over. Have some good Monty Python to watch !

Thanks for a nice evening - enjoyed the DVD's and the company. That last Fawlty Towers looked good too - can't remember seeing it.

Am really disappointed by the turnout, considering the interest. This may be the last event I hold ! Great for the people that did turn up, hope all enjoyed !

After the last event was thinking more than 10 !!

Oh knock off that weeping pepper, it was a good time regardless. Splendid entertainment and fantastic conversation. Would've been better if someone had helped me drink the wine, though.

You don't mean that! I had to get up at 6 this morning! Cheer up, Pepper, we had a good time. Think what all those others missed. They will never know.

Wouldnt worry about it too much Pepper, its Buffy this Sunday.
