Subversion is supported natively for long time already. There were some problems in the past because Apple was slow to move to the newer versions of Subversion, but that's already in the past. Or there is something else?
No, unfortunately it does suck with SVN. I gave up with it and just use snapshots now. Lazy of me, but I don´t have much cause for a full versioning system.

I would like to gently point out to them there lazy arse mods that I only started this thread as a "MAC WORSHIP THREAD" 'cos I got my arse modded on another one of those PC v MAC threads, of which there are a gazillion on the interwebby and here.
So technically about 50% of the cock on here is "off topic".
For simplicity I suggest simply deleting anything written by Dark Knob, and then we are pretty much good to go.
There is a perfectly good thread already on the subject:
Apple iMac vs. PC with Microsoft Vista
Dark Knob can go and chat to himself over there.

I agree. Sure Krieg, it supports it, but it's crap. I'm only comparing to my experience with Eclipse.
But man, this is one area that's bound to have its
Besserwissers.

Has anyone seen DK and Hutcho in the same room at the same time? Ah, I joke.
Seriously, the Apple ecosystem is really beginning to come together. Who thinks the iPhone 3.0 cut/copy/paste features, along with the Expose' integration into the Snow Leopard dock, all the mouse gestures innovation, and the extension of mouse gestures to the AppleTV via the AppleTV Remote app are not going to converge into a new focus on "touch" as the default input mechanism across their product line? The "Apple Tablet" and iPhone and iTouch are going to be essentially the same platform with different use cases. AppleTV will be re-released and will have access to the App Store and will be controlled by the tablet or iPhone or iTouch very soon. The iTouch is destined to be the "mobile application platform for enterprises", such as health care, manufacturing, and plenty of other industries where the focus will shift from task-based hardware development to software-only development.
Apple has a long term vision to take advantage of their closed hardware platforms and make this fact a benefit to customers. The DK's of the world are still mired in the last decade of PC white box commodity price shopping and not embracing what Apple can provide across its entire platform. Sure, the cost right now is high, but the functionality is also high.

You're putting me in the crazy fanatical "I hate Apple" box because I dared to say I'm not such a fan of Mac OS? I merely posted about my experience with Mac OS, saying that I prefer Windows and pointing out the faults I see in the OS.
For every Darknight who is ready to get all fanatical about how Apple sucks, there are 10 Apple fan boys who are just as fanatical on the other side.

Now that is a kinda interesting comment. On the basis that PC users outnumber Apple users by at least 10 to 1 it means us fanboys are 100 times more enthusiastic about our equipment. Also you must consider that "most" Apple users will have started life on a PC and then at some stage migrated across.
The voice of previous Apple users that have migrated to Windows and then scream "Wow, I am like just soooooo glad I discovered Windows Vista" is a very quiet one methinks.

I really think half the Apple fan boys just like to think they are special because they are using something outside of the ordinary, and love to go on about it to make themselves sound cool. This is definitely the case in the arty/creative world where you wouldn't be seen dead using a PC, as that wouldn't fit your image at all. In reality, it would make little difference for a lot of these people because the software they are using is the same on a Mac or PC. As usual, Maddox has
summed it up better than I could ever do myself.
