Well me, kenboy n possibly plane girl are off out for a couple. Dunno where we r going yet. maybe kilians/ned K's, The Arc, GM or TB. so if anyone wants to join us they can. But only staying out for a couple.

Frankly, out of those four, I had been to only Arc a few times (thanks to Quiz nite) and TB for the first time last week. I am more into local bars. Never been to GM or ned's

Never been to GMs, you really are missing something. This bar holds so much history in the TT drinking nights !

Know what I wish was happening tonight? I wish someone was driving me home from a big shopping trip to Metro so that I didn't have to feel like a Nepalese sherpa hauling my bags back.

But if wishes were horses... well, I wouldn't need a car.

If you were a Nepalese Sherpa you'd enjoy lugging back the 10000lbs you just bought at Metro, back to your humble abode. You'd probably do 3 or 4 trips just for the hell of it.

A great band from Ireland, The Frames are playing tonight at the Atomic Cafe. I would be there, but I am going skiing on some rain wet slopes.

Cheers for the details, I took myself along to the Frames on Friday night and I must say it was a good gig. Got tickets at the door (€15). It was possibly not as good as I've seen them before in Éire but they were good none the less. In their set they played mostly new stuff; I think they have a new album recently launched, so I guess that's the reason for the tour. In the end the place was absolutely packed!

The support band weren't the best; they only redeaming factor was the lead singer looked a little like Ashley Simpson
