So, I saw on the news yesterday that President Obama's approval rating has dropped from 83% just after taking office to 66%...Ouch! how long did that take?
Edit:...and what could have caused it? He really hasn't had time to screw anything up yet, has he?
Has he disappointed any of his TT supporters yet?

Just imagine what it will look like if official unemployment rises to double digit percentages while a grotesque masquerade of a stimulus plan does not actually stimulate any private sector economic activity.

No President stays at approval ratings of 80-90% for very long anyway, and especially not in tough economic times. Even maintaining a 66% approval rating is unrealistic.

People are so fucking fickle. He has been working hard! Americans need to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps and quit expecting a nanny state to solve all their problems. Personally, I would still shag the Pres rotten. I support everything he has done, particularly the pay caps for the rich, tax stealing assholes!

.... tax stealing assholes!
as opposed to the Tax avoiding type he's been trying to put into his cabinet?

He took full responsibility for that, and apologized, something a REAL leader is courageous enough to do. Has Bush ever apologized?

Glad you asked. Here is the famous quote:
"I wish you'd have given me this written question ahead of time so I could plan for it...I'm sure something will pop into my head here in the midst of this press conference, with all the pressure of trying to come up with answer, but it hadn't yet...I don't want to sound like I have made no mistakes. I'm confident I have. I just haven't -- you just put me under the spot here, and maybe I'm not as quick on my feet as I should be in coming up with one." --after being asked to name the biggest mistake he had made, Washington, D.C., April 3, 2004

I read today in CnnMoney that some of the experts are thinking that CEO salary for 2008 would be almost same as in 2007, might even be little bit more
Not surprised after reading about the 18 Billion bonus for Wall Streeters

Super Barry did not apologize for having a Treasury Secretary who did not pay all of the taxes he should have reasonably known he had to pay. Note to non-US TTers- the Internal Revenue Service falls under the Treasury Department.

Which "news? The legit polls have had him steady at 75% which is where almost every president starts just before inauguration.

Oh, you're a low-info right-wing troll trying who thinks that more tax cuts for the richest of the rich is the way to fix the system.

how long did that take?
So extremely low information, to match the low intelligence. Is it that hard to count the number of days from Jan 20 to today? The overall polling has gone up from 72% to the current 75% (with less than 22% against, GOP base/core). Rasmussen and AP have long been discredited.

You do know Bush is no longer in office, don't you? Can we stop the comparisons and judge this administration on it's own merits?

You're right he did take responsibility, it's a promising sign, but will only work once or twice.

I'm just pissed off with his PR department for making him do some silly waltz when he was made pres. It was a blatantly clear opportunity for the whole family to line up in baggy pyjama pants and do the "running man". FFS, even his name is perfect for a wicked MC Hammer cover; alright stop - obama time...dooo doo doo doo do doo do dooo.. we can do this...

It was actually a gallup Poll. And to show how figures can be damaging without context, his rating is among the highest for a new President , so he's actually doing well. ( but as informed as you are you knew that already,Didn't you?)

Are you interpersonal skills as absent in person as they are online?

How do you know where he stands on tax policy? Or is that simply a low-intelligence/low-information rant on your part?

Sounds like you were trying to paint a different context. But then again, it could be due to prejudice that we assume that you are trying to smear "THE LEFTIST".

Daschle removed his name. from nomination too bad, but the right thing to do.

That's exactly what I did. But I'm not trying to smear anyone, just trying to elicit opinions about how Supporters feel President Obama is doing.

Personally I'm wary of his stimulus plan, But I like what he did regarding stem cell research, the equal Pay legislation, and a salary cap for CEOs of companies receiving TARP funds.
