Anyway, typical female solution to all problems; telephone someone and talk for hours.

we have been as well! it is not just via thread. The thread helps keep all people informed of the current situation.
And the thread IS for people wanting to skiing, so i don't really see the problem.

Showem: co-ordination IS going on in the background via PMs. Believe me they are being sent

Edit: Besides, your argument is tantamount to saying why do we all bother to post to Toytown at all, we could just ring each other. And it would be just as confusing

I had a question about the ski hire. Looking at the website it makes me think theres no hire on the mountain just down in the town, so will I have to stop off at the town, get the ski hire and then drive on to the ski area, or is the parking place, ski hire and ticket shop all in the same area?
Owain Glyndwr

ski hire is available at the lift "Talstation", right next to the parking lot.

Just wondering what people were planning to do for lunch. Mostly bringing your own, or planning to buy at the mountain?
gideon
Jan 29 2005, 3:33 pm
ski rental as OG said is right next to the lift, there was also another next to the parkplatz if memory serves me right.
as for lunch we'll probably by that at the big restaurant up the mountain. usual healthy ski-fare, curry würst and pommens and a weissbier. i allways take breakfast sandwiches and something for the way home. but there again my ski companion is six years old and does not understand the word wait.
see ya tommorrow bright and early and everybody bring a flask of hot coffee and a scarf.

If you arrive on the train that gets there at 06:42, then i am sure you will see everyone on the platform. And at that time on a sunday morning i don't think you will have problems finding the cars
