MrHay, try PMing Jeeves or Johnny English, they have posted here or Snowboarding day trip - 27 or 28th Jan.2005 to say they may go this weekend, and perhaps they have room.

I think ParrotHead said he was also interested in going, perhaps he could go with one of them.

JE does not live in Munich. Jeeves will be deciding tomorrow if he is coming.

@JB - Since October? How far do we have to push it to the repair shop? For a ride to the mountains, I am sure that I could manage to push a car for at least 200m.

I was on the road yesterday. Bit difficult to surf Toytown at the same time...

There's been a lot of background noise on this thread so I'm not sure whose car is taking people and who's taking skis. If my skis (which are almost as ancient as me) and the skis/boards of anybody else who comes along will fit into a communal ski-carrying vehicle then I can take 3 peeps. If I have to carry my own skis then I can take only 1 other as I have no ski rack.

Now dont go making things complicated Jeeves

May well come too, but the person I am coming with cannot ski at all. Does anyone know if there is a ski school there/or instructors?

yes, more than one actually. but it is usually advisable to book skiing lessons in advance rather than just turning up.

my car will take 8 on the roof and as oscars skis are so mini they'll fit in the boot.
last ski count is seven - if JB has aquirred a pair - and oscars makes 8 so i have space for one more pair.

What's the weather supposed to be like on Sunday? The last skiing I did was in brilliant sunshine, but -19 was the high that day, with an average of -23. So I'm looking for a nice day before I get back on the slopes.

Could Tartan please confirm who is he taking a what equipment he can carry?.

Gideon's car can only take one more pair of skis. We have three snowboards, so that fills up Isabella's roof. And i don't have a roof-rack and the car is full of people. Jeeves doesn't either and has his skis in the car. and could take one more person (don't know whether he can also take one more board or pair of skis?)

note: this is the forecast for the Berg and not the Tal.
