Will be there for sure (don't much care who wins though - Superbowl Sunday is practically a holiday in the US and I plan on celebrating it as such).

Well, after having pulled an all-nighter to see the Red Sox win the Series, guess I have to do the same for our wonderful Patiots. I'm in. Will need to take Moday off, I think

Jan 24 2005, 1:09 pm
if they show Sky coverage you will get UK commercials. better than german but not the block-busters that you get on US tv for the big game.
you will also get the Fox commentators, i think they are even getting rid of the annoying english guy in the UK studio as he will be doing a commentary for people "less familiar with the game" on Sky interactive.

The best American Budweiser I ever had was in Munich (last year's Superbowl) but it still really sucked (only drank Bud when that was all I could afford)!

Is there a noticeable difference between the Budweiser brewed in the States and the Bud brewed here under licence?

yea, US Budweiser tastes like cold piss water, the Munich version like cold piss water with calcium.
oddly, Budwar (or whatever the original Czech beer is called) is very drinkable.

While Budweiser may taste quite watery, it does provide the authentic experience

Izabella - don't worry the Beaners will still put on a riot for you!
Go Eagles!
does "Finger Food" include Buffalo Wings? There's nothing like some good wings during the game... or subs? Anyone know of a sub/hoagie/supersandwich shop, besides Subway, in this flippin' town?

Bad news - We were unable to get Budweiser from our suppliers.
They've run out. I'll try to track some down today and tomorrow, but can't make any promises.

All the other NFL games have been off the Sky Sports feed, which gives the British analysist during the commercials, and sometimes British commericals, but during the game gives the direct feed from the US channel (so we hear the US announcers). I don't think they'll be showing commercials, but maybe everything changes for the Superbowl?

SO jealous Izabella! However, I did end up flying home after the Sox won the World Series! Remember talking about it like some crazy idea at The Arc? 7 hours later I had booked a fligth and was on my way home!
I cannot wait! Let's see a dynasty confirmed!
