English Film Club at TU Dresden

There is an English Film Club at TU Dresden that is talking about shutting down because not many people come. I thought it might just be because people don't know about it. It is at the university but you don't have to be a student to attend. It is every Thursday at 7pm and free of charge. It is at Bergstraße 64, Hörsaalzentrum room 401.

I am afraid we need more information. Does the club involve drinking beer before the movie, during the movie and after
the movie.

haha well..sure. The club has beer, other drinks and snacks you can buy to help support it. There is a nearby student club that has country themed nights every Thursday you can go to afterwards. http://www.gutzkow-club.de/ Last week was a China themed night so there was Chinese food for cheap, cheap drinks, and a presentation about China and a quiz with prizes afterwards. They usually have specialties from the country of the night. It is a good place to meet people from other countries as well as here.

This Thursday will be the movie The Tall Guy. We will meet at the same place: Hörsaalzentrum 401 and the movie starts at 7pm.

I am curious how do you pick the films? I have never seen the tall guy. I have never even heard of it.

After the film does the movie club go to club countdown together or does everyone go their separate ways.

This Thursday is the last movie of the semester. The movie is Broken Flowers a film by Jim Jarmusch starring Bill Murray. As always it will be shown at Bergstraße 64 in Hörsaalzentrum 401 at 7pm.
