Sirius - the brightest star in the sky

Beautiful and coloured, to the south east

Betty Tyranny
There's a brilliantly colored star in the southeastern sky. I swear it looks like it's changing colors from red to blue to green. Does anyone else see it? At any rate, it's worth a look. It's "near" the Säuling at the moment from my vantage point.

Have you been drinking Betty?
Betty Tyranny
Um...yeah! But that's beside the point.

Just looked it up and it's called Sirius. It's really beautiful. No joke!

No Joke!!!??

Are you sirius?
robinson100
oh dear!
I´m just off to bed anyway, so I´ll put out all the lights and take a look!
G´night!

Hardy har!

It's the brightest star according to (Wikipedia)

Yes, I checked it out yesterday evening just before bed - amazing!
(it delayed bedtime somewhat though!)
I´ll look out tonight again just before bed in case it´s still there as it were!

Shorty loved it!

I am looking at it right now. It's beautiful.
robinson100
Yep, it was still there!
Betty Tyranny
I told you!

It's probibly not Sirius by Venus, that is visible in the low sky at this time of the year (northern hemisphere ofc).
Betty Tyranny
It wasn't really near Venus. It matched up when I used Stellarium, but who knows.
