There's a brilliantly colored star in the southeastern sky. I swear it looks like it's changing colors from red to blue to green. Does anyone else see it? At any rate, it's worth a look. It's "near" the Säuling at the moment from my vantage point.

Just looked it up and it's called Sirius. It's really beautiful. No joke!

Yes, I checked it out yesterday evening just before bed - amazing!
(it delayed bedtime somewhat though!)
I´ll look out tonight again just before bed in case it´s still there as it were!

It's probibly not Sirius by Venus, that is visible in the low sky at this time of the year (northern hemisphere ofc).

It wasn't really near Venus. It matched up when I used
Stellarium, but who knows.
