Any1 fancy meeting in Alte Simpl for a few at 8pm?
never been so have no idea what its like, but its good a place as any drinking whole i suppose

Alter Simpl is a good bar with a fascinating history. The only gripe I've ever had with the place is that I don't think the music fits the atmosphere, a small gripe I know. Many's the time I went along there after a few other places for a couple of last beers and a big plate of chips.

Get along early if you want to get a table.

Agree with Keydeck, it is a great bar and the chips are perfect. It does get very busy though.

Alter Simpl is a fantastic place, one of my favourite bars in Munich.
Not at all Schicki Micki and friendly staff IIRC.
Unfortunately I can't make it, but I hope you get a big turn out

If you've never been before, btw, then don't give up if the front bit is packed - there's a room up the back also. Head down the little narrow bit on the right. A lot of people don't realise this first time they go in.
