Meetups for owners of small/medium-size dogs - Berlin

Hi Everyone -

So my chihuahua puppy needs some serious social/play time with dogs around her own size. Was wondering if there are any small dog playgroups in Berlin or if anyone would be interested in starting one? We live in PBerg but are willing to travel to other neighborhoods too.

Hello there, We have also just moved into Berlin with 2 small dogs - a bichon havanese and a border terrier mix. We are right next to Weinbergspark, but willing to walk anywhere in the Pberg-Mitte area. If you are still interested in a small dog playgroup, i would love to hear from you.

Hello all! I'm new in Berlin and have been desperately seeking Fido, since I got here. My life back in the States included a job at a veterinary clinic and a pet sitting business, so my own dog was never lonely. Here we've been trying valiantly to meet other friendly, playful dogs but owners seem much less interested in socializing their animals than they are in New York. Of course, New York is a bit of an anomaly but regardless, my guy needs friends. He's small, about 18lbs (8kgs) and most of the dog runs I've found are filled with Rottweilers and German Shepherds. I love big dogs too, but usually he gets trampled in the first minute and takes himself out of the game. So, I'm asking if there are folks out there who have mid-small sized or gentle large sized dogs who would like to meet for play dates? I'll be happy to organize a group but want to know if there is an interest before I do. Thanks ahead of time. (Advice is welcome as well unless it's "get a second dog". Not possible in this Wohnung.)

Hey I live in the pankow area. I have a small beagle/terrier mixed. She loves all dogs her size. She is very playful and fun to be with. So if your ever interested you have a playmate for your dog.

hope you have found connections - but can always recommend hundesee (grunewaldsee) in zehlendorf. is easy to get to with a car, and this is THE walking are for dog owners

my dog's a little too rough with little guys otherwise I'd totally love to join you guys. But I have to agree with 'Bobby', Grunewaldsee, is just wonderful for every dog!!At least an hour walk around a big lake, and trust me, you have never seen so many dogs in one place-its great !I wish I had a car so we could go more often...
Anyway, have fun in Berlin everyone!
