Hi anyone want to meet up at
The Arc this Friday. I am going to watch a college bball game at 7pm. The game is no. 1 ranked (for 6 weeks and counting) Univ. of Illinois (my hometown) vs. no. 23 Iowa. Illinois is so far undefeated this year with 18 wins already. This is our best start in the past 100 years. I haven't gotten to see any games yet this year so I'm really excited for this one. So anyone who's interested can show up at 7pm to watch the game with me or show up later to help me celebrate our 19-0 season

The Arc shows college hoops?! Man, that's exciting! I could give a toss about U of I- I had to put up with way too much Big 10 in Chicago, but still: college basketball! Unbelievable baby! Is there really a Friday afternoon (in America) game?
The Fighting Illini showing at the Arc? Go on, next you'll tell me there's a Papa Dels opening up in
Schwabing.

@jml, oh that's just nasty...reminding me about papa dels when there's no way for me to get it.
No the game is not live, it's just the time NASN is playing it, but I'll take what I can get.
aight them WG, i'll remind you of the schnitzel specials at Jumers Castle Lodge. Nice bears though.

Damn you! Please don't ever post that photo again.
Oh, and college hoops rocks. It's going to be real painful when Michigan breaks up that undefeated season.

(ok, probably not, but a man can dream)
If I'm around town I will show up for the game. Haven't sorted out the weekend plans yet.
yes i agree...foul play...that pic came with a recipe, now you have to make it. mr. jarvii and i will judge its authenticity.

You didn't miss much...the game was ugly and I mean UGLY! KU played like a bunch of freshman playing together for the first time.

Yeah, freshman high schoolers. Pathetic. They're my team, but they don't deserve to be ranked in the top 5 after that mauling.

Speaking of getting beaten...I was so happy to see that Maryland beat Duke at home last week
Now is just my Illini and BC that are undefeated
Next Wed. at 6:30pm the Illini vs. Mich. St. is on NASN. Anyone want to watch it with me at the Arc?

Winegirl, I might be interested in watching, but only to root for Mich St so that BC becomes the only undefeated!

Oh! Thems fightin' words!
The big ten and other conferences tournaments are March 10-13th. Then the next week starts the NCAA tournament. The Championship game is the first weekend in April.

I'd like to watch it (and I think I'd end up rooting for Illinois for fear of injury), but this MFing cold is killing me! There any more games coming up soon?

There's games on almost everyday. Check out www.nasn.com. You have to add one hour to the listed time showing.

Ohhhh, great matchup! I might pop by to watch a little bit. Not sure yet though, have a lot to get done tonight and am not sure I can get there in time.
I really need to remember to check the NASN schedule BEFORE checking the box scores from the previous night. Kinda ruins the game to already know what happens.
