How and where to meet people near Markdorf

Hey, Im on holiday in Germany, near Markdorf and i would love to meet people. Im currently staying with my family but it does get abit lonely here.

Any great places/pubs to go to?

Hey - I will reply to your previous message here...I had to reply as I was living down in Markdorf for a little while - my girlfriend was based there, thankfully I am now in Stuttgart. Nothing against the place, its a pretty little town and you are close to the Bodensee however it is BORING! There is nothing much to do there - at night anyway. Friedrichshafen is not to far away and I guess it has more to do - your best bet around the lake would be Konstanz...its across the lake, you will need to go to Meersburg and get the ferry from there. It is a University town and has plenty of bars, cafe's and clubs to keep you entertained.So the sum up - you wont find any nightlife in Markdorf! Save yourself!
