I'm not a Triv. P. fan. I'll come if there's anyone wanting to play something else but it seems like everyone's backing out?

Whatever is played is fine with me.
Anyway, if there are fewer people, then we could decide on some other game and do something special for eats-Racelette, chilli (normal and veggie), Petros or order Chinese. I am thinking about making a big pot of chilli anyway with this weather.

Postponed due to everyone going skiing except me!
February 12th or 19th are possibilities.
If anyone is actually still interested, PM me and we may be up for a smaller get together with something other than Trivial Pursuit.

A few of us got together and had racelette and played scrabble. The first word played was "Toy", go figure. Anyway we also made up a new word that now needs a definition. The word is "Jaktoyed", what do you think?
Going to bed now, goodnight!!!
"Jaktoyed" is when the girl puts on the strap-on and fucks you up the arse.
Ow!!!

@sin, well thats a pretty good on. I will now remember not to say that I was feeling jaktoyed ever again.
The floor is now open for motions on the next date: 12th or 19th of February. Trivial Pursuit will be the main game and sides games will be scrabble, monopoly or whatever you want.
Ordering out around 6:30ish and start playing just after 8ish (when Ian goes to bed).
However eurovol, it is spelt wrong - so no points at Scrabble. It should be "Jacktoyed".
Hahahahahaha

jacktoyed is a completely different word.
Bugger - What does "Jaktoyed" mean if we already have a meaning for "Jacktoyed"?

I would be up for a poker home tournement, reasonable buy-in (€10-20). NL hold 'em game of choice. Any games out there?

We will order out at around 6:30ish. Games can start at around 8ish. The U6 runs until almost 3am. I will turn on the heat tonight so that the basement is toasty warm. Will post further details as needed and PM directions as well to those that need it.
I'd love to do this again, if I'm better - I've got the flu just now. Not sure that I'm up to the creative challenge of making up new words for Scrabble...

We now have:
Nisha
NOFXmike and GF
Kat (if she is well)
LeBronJames
Johnny8008
persimmon +1
32D
Petra (if her BF doesn't make it into town)
Becca +1 (???)
Anyone else? PM for directions and to confirm. Also, let us know if you will show up for the ordering out as well.
Roots and Nath you should come and we could possibly get a side game of poker going. I would be up for some three card buy a card gut. I would have to dig out the rules from the net somewhere. Warning, it is damn addictive.

Eurovol, you know I would love to come but right now I am in Washington DC. Its a bit expensive to come all the way just for a games night don't you think?

We have semi confirmations from 10 people. Still room for a few more.
Come early (6ish) for ordering Chinese/Thai/whatever you want...
For the later arrivals, try to make it by 8ish.
Bring Trivial Pursuit as I only have the cards for one edition and any other games you might like to play. Bring snacks and drinks too if you would like. There is a store across the street if you would prefer to buy locally instead of dragging things about with you on the train.
See ya'll later.

There is still room for anyone with nothing better to do on a frosty winters eve. Got to run to the store now and buy more beer.

Seems my son answered the phone while we were in the basement. Sorry to anyone that called looking for where to come to. I am laughing right now cause I can just imagine what he said. Look-dragon or look Shrek or some such 3yo nonsense. I am really sorry if you got that and were not able to join us. Oh well, maybe next time. He will be older and hopefully can answer the phone more properly next time.

Many thanks to eurovol for hosting a successful games night and one of the longest games of Trivial Persuit in history

I guess it was a combination of bad luck, bad questions, and a lot of talking. Next time we need to break out the egg timer!
