Sports players in Nuremberg

Post here to get together

Hi All

Im new to the forum as mentioned in some of my other posts!

Im into lots of sports and would love to organise or join some of you guys in some sporting activities.

I played semi pro football, and retired from Rugby this year (but if you were to look at me you wouldnt guess Rugby was my sport!)

I also play Badminton, Squash... (I suck at tennis!) I started climbing too...

I used to work in a sports centre when younger so play almost every sport, or would love to try a new sport...
Im not brilliant at any sport but play well enough to not look like an idiot! I just enjoy sport!

Im also a qualified personal trainer, so if any goes to Fit Comp, let me know and I can offer some free training!

So if you play any sport and can let me join, or you would like to organise something with me, let me know!!

Any luck finding some sports teams? I would love to find some local basketball leagues to play in but haven't had much luck yet.

I've got some friends involved in local rugby leagues if you are interested in still playing. I hung my cletes up after college. What position did you play?

Later this year (in the fall) I'd love to organize some American football games. I know quite a few people who would love to play. Simple touch football probably - unless we all were keen on playing tackle without pads. We used to do it all the time when I was younger. Getting hit hurts more now that I'm older!

I think if we could expand it to the A3 corridor between Regensburg and Nuremberg, we'd get a lot of takers.

Sup guys. If anyone is interested in playing fast pitch hardball baseball, then we have a club here in Nuremberg for you! (We also have a slow pitch softball team for those who want to play that.) It is called the Noris Diamonds. http://www.norisdiamonds.de/

It doesn't matter how good or how bad you play, everyone is welcome!

Check out the website and I hope to see you at practice! Games start in April.

Franken 1st is now the club with different divisions.

I know there are a few teams I will add later after I can look them up.

WOW! I don't know how I missed this thread the entire time I've been a part of TT, but THANK YOU rydogg!

That link that you put up was exactly what I have been searching for!
Granted, I had hoped it would be a little bit closer to Bamberg (the fastpitch softball team for women), but I'll take it anyways!

I have e-mailed the ladies asking if they need any more players.
