So Schnappi, das keine Krokodil is at No.1 in the German charts.
But do you find him fun, irritating or both.

It is not a patch on this. Or "Insel mit 2 Bergen". No you can't borrow my copies.
But anything is better than slags anthem "Das Spiel (Ich will doch nur spielen)" from Annett Louisan.

Now wheres that ring tone. There was an interview with the songwritter on Sat1 last news, saying stuff like - "it was only ever meant to be kids song!"

Well, it's a pop song now. It was number one on the video charts for Viva I think. It's cute, but it will get old quickly. That is for sure.

It is heading for the record of "Hit" on Radio Gongs "hit oder shit" parade. I think it has been on there for like 32 weeks or something and has or is about to overtake "You touch my tra la la" which I thougt was not as good as the Ringadingadingdongsong.

Now if it is pop, I want to see the Schnappi Dance.

Even the Denver Post is reporting on this...

I discovered it on a ski trip last weekend and I think it's much better than:

"20 centimeter nie im Leben kleine Peter"

If it does become some "song of the year apri ski hit", at least it is not a regurgitated old American song with horribly done arrangements like what they did to Country Roads or Alice or Hey Baby.

My son loved it from the very first time he heard it. The CD has 8 different variations.

Its been there for 40 days now or 8 weeks (5 day working weeks). I hear it every morning driving into work and its starting to drive me nuts...

I think it's pretty funny, and I can't stand most of the shit that's similar.
(green day was on MTV 2 days ago and said they liked it too...and they loved the song I'm mentioning below, but said 100 times a night is more than enough, and I agree)

I was extremely fortunate in that I managed to avoid actually hearing the song. However thanks to POOTLE insisting on singing it when I met him on the way to GM's AND insisting on playing the ring tone on his bloody phone, it is now in my heed and won't leave.

It was finally voted as "shit" today on Morning man Mikes Shit Parade. 3 to 2.
So no more Schnappi in the mornings when driving to work
