Playgrounds close to Mittelweg - Hamburg

Hi, we will be moving from Munich to Hamburg this week - what a challenge :-). My little man loves to go to the playground and meet other kids. Or new house is at Heimhuderstrasse and I was wondering if there is a nice playgroung nearby - anybody wants to join me???

I work for a family in Johnsallee, but I'm not sure my kids are young enough...(5, 8), in any case, there's a cute little playground for small kids in the corner between Mollerstraße and Mittelweg (you'll see lots of moms with heels and a coffe in hand) your neighborhood also has the best ice-cream store in the whole of Hamburg -and I do say so myself- run by an Italian family in Mittelweg. If you feel like walking a bit or taking the bus half-way; there's the "Planten und Bloomen" park not too far. Anyway, you got a good location for a home, and you'll find almost anything you need within easy reach from there.

Could you tell me the name of the ice cream place.. I just moved here and I love this region, it is close to everything...

Oh Dear, I don't know the name but it's right in front of the "Böttgerstraße" bus stop...nearly anyone you ask should be able to tell you where it is, the owners are quite popular in the neighborhood 'cause they're really nice to regular customers, and like Isaid, their ice-cream is great!
