Asian shops and supermarkets in Augsburg

Hi

We are relocating to Augsburg from Scotland next month and we were wondering if anyone knew of any Asian supermarkets in Augsburg! All search engines are saying there are plenty in Munich but wondered if there was anything closer?

yep there is one near wertachbruke (sp?) tram stop. its next to an asian fast food place. sorry cant be more specific. Also karstadt has some stuff

It's in german, but if you click on "startseite" (top right) and then choose an area of Augsburg, e.g. Stadtmitte you'll get a list of shops, restaurants, cultural institutions etc in that area of town. It even lists a shop "Isle of Skye" which sells whisky, food stuffs, textiles etc from Scotland... but also a few shops with oriental or indian specialities.

There's a Thai grocery on Spitalgasse across from the Augsburger Puppenkiste. The owner gives good recipe advice!

Forgot to say thanks for Thai supermarket recommendation...its fab! And if I cant find what I want there I walk further down road and go to international supermarket lol Are you still in Augsburg btw?
