Double Features at Cinema Muenchen

Are they badly timed?

My Rant for today..I always wonder why the Cinema-Muenchen ppl schedule the double features at like 11:00 pm every weekend. Since the shows end up around 3ish, there is no way you can catch a U-Bahn back..I am assuming most of the people in Munich like me use public transport to commute...maybe they expect ppl to save money off one movie ticket and pay 30-35 bucks (from where I live) to a taxi to get back home..nice logic!

You are getting one film for free aint you? Stop moaning.

they probably expect you to drive, this winter I've driven quite a bit more than taken the s-bahn...damn concerts at the backstage are impossible with the s-bahn

In fact they expect you to think about the movies while you wait for the train at 4am.

Agreed. No sane person would give away free tickets to a film in peak time.

Could be worse, you could take a hot date out for an expensive meal, then to the movies and then think your going to get a little extra-mural fun because she invites you back to her place. Then she makes some special coffee and you spend the next two hours endlessly discussing the hidden meaning of the film in ways that rival a boring college Lit class until the wee hours of the morning. Then she kicks you out because it is afterall the first date and now you are driving home at 4am wired on coffee, horny and knowing more than you ever wanted to know about a stupid film! dry.gif
