Vegetarian/vegan meal - still going strong in 2009 - Berlin

Hey, anybody interested in getting together for a delicious veggie/vegan meal? I was reading the list of vegan restaurants in Berlin and was impressed by the variety!

id be up for that if we can get a group together, anywhere you'd have in mind?

personally i only know fast food type places, i don't know if those would be your idea of a meal out hehe.

Not sure how many options there are in Berlin - I'm only really aware of imbiss type places (as mentioned above), some good Indian restaurants and Seerose on Mehringdamm (great buffet/self-service). Would love to discover some new places.

Ok, so I have had quite a few responses already so we should come up with a plan. I am going to suggest Hans Wurst as I have been once before and the food was really tasty but am open to other suggestions...

unfortunately i'm away from friday on for a week.. but i'm sure you'll organise more meetups or simply have this one a bit later on in the month!

Ahh yes, I have also been told by a friend that Satyam is a nice place...next time perhaps...
So when are people available? Weekdays or the weekend?
I would personally prefer Friday night or the weekend as I tend to work late in the week.

I am cool with Hans Wurst.

Satyam is quite good. It is close to work, so I eat there almost every other day It is cheap, the food is tasty but the service is sometimes slow and not the most courteous.

Hans Wurst do a tasty all you can eat vegan brunch at the weekend aswell. When I went they gave us the choice, pay 7€ or 11€ depending on how much we enjoyed it.

I'd definately be interested in getting to know some more veggie places.

a friday night or weekend would be fine with us. Brunch sounds good too if anyone wants to do this sometime.

I propose either this Sunday (for brunch) or next Friday night (7th Nov)... which do you prefer?
