New Years Eve 2004/5 - Clubbing

Where will you be, where is recommended?

hello everyone!

Just wanted to find out what the clubbers amongst us are doing for NYE? Is anyone going to any events?

I am going to Garden 12 midnight till 3 (it's free!), then off to Milchbar at 3am till sometime later the next day!

There doesn't seem to be that much good stuff on at all in terms of good dj's (if you discount George Morel @parkcafe)

Does anyone know of any good parties that I don't? Should I not bother going out at all? blink.gif

Hey worm...
I'm a bit behind in my planning.. so far only dinner has been discussed. But when I return from Holiday on Wed, the serious planning is on as to where to go on NYE. If I come across anything cool, I'll pop it on here. Hopefully a bunch of delightful options will materialize on this thread whilst I'm away, thus making it real easy to figure out what to do. biggrin.gif

I'll be at work, with an eye on a webcam to some NYE Site...

i'm going to sound like a bit of an arrrrrrrrsole but our party me and some friends organised and are DJing at is sold out. we have to control capacity due to police, fire and owner hassle ..trust me i've almost had the police take my decks and amp away and shut my apartment down before :-( ..but i will post a number to those who are intrigued and want to email me via TT on 31 december (before 16:00 as I need to set equipment up !!) ...i won't answer until into the evening and may be looking to let more numbers in circa 2/3/4am ! it's our first time at this venue and if it rox, we may well put on a monthly...

however, if you can't be bothered with my hype i would be personally looking to do some new year's boogaloo at the following beautiful mansion...

Praterinsel
------------
A top top venue in the middle of the Isar:
http://www.munichx.de/planen/special.php?id=758
the line up is local with jocks like Suat G who I buy vinyl off and DJ Real who plays for Kickz & the recommended 'inthepaint' Krew around town
i would say you need to get tickets FAST as it will sell out to and can be complete chaos to get into if you turn up on the spur of the moment. Was last there a couple of years ago watching Timo Maas & i believe there aren't normally parties here ..they tend to be one offs ...this place is S.P.E.C.I.A.L. ...that f++in' special that if you put on a party here you are contractually obliged to repaint the interior !!! ..and we're talking well over a 1,000 sqm here ..

@Izabella - there's another electro boogaloo room passing you by here :-)

anyways, whatever you get up to i wish you all a Guten Rutsch in '05 !!!

@Izabella

there has to be somethin big happenin in Zell - did you check ? ...even if it's the casino or night skiing ...on the positive side you're ears won't be bleedin unless you're havin it large to schlager in an apres-ski disco biggrin.gif ...the mountains at NYE can be most groovy and i know this from being a 1 time resort worker in Flims/Laax !
Yeah right
Never having spent new years in munich was wondering if anyone had some suggestions regarding bars with a bit of dancing actions and offcourse lots of totty.
Darkknight
Check "The Arc" or "The Twisted Bavarian", both are having NYE parties with many TT'ers
eurovol
And everybody knows that TTers are full of "totty". biggrin.gif
Kza
Might check this out after the TB: (assuming that by clubbing you dont mean the normal TT definition of "clubbing": listening to someone playing madonna, kylie and the dirty dancing soundtrack on cd! )

Erste Liga will also be a good little party, with Martin Peter from Compost playing.

I'm feeling scared about the damage I'm going to inflict upon myself tonight...might even dj for a bit in the 'vip' at milchbar depending on how wasted I am!
