Greetings, fellow Toytowners!

I am one of the latest additions to this forum... to make a long story short, I am a 28 year old male from Lisbon, Portugal.
My girlfriend got a job in Munich last spring and I have finally been able to move here after many months of loneliness biggrin.gif
I am telecommuting, so I still earn a crappy portuguese salary... came here looking for tips on how to get by in Munich while spending as little as possible, or ways to supplement my income sad.gif

Always interested in meeting new people, and being blissfully ignorant of this forum's netiquette specifics, I decided that announcing my presence would be a good start!

We're both relatively mild-mannered or, dare I say it, geeky people who don't smoke, try to drink only moderately, and avoid loud music like the plague. Sue us! smile.gif
I studied Computer Science and now work for my own fledgling little company with two other partners, doing design, programming and marketing type of work, including videos, events, etc.
She is a Food Engineer, doing Quality Control type of stuff. Her official job title is "Scientist", imagine that!
I hope I'm welcome here, this looks like it's more about native english speakers. I speak... somewhat decent english (or so I'm told) but, alas, she has some minor difficulties with it.

Nice to meet you all!

Sorry, move on to the next site please. wink.gif

Now now, such bravery should be applauded (or pitied???)!!! Hahaha.

To Eggy: Are you really Portuguese? Your English is excellent. Oh yes, and welcome to TT!!!
Punchbear
True dat, his English is bloody good.

Haha! Well, bluedave, point the way! biggrin.gif
Seriously though, I can get along with pretty much anyone. Thanks for the compliments! I am indeed a native portuguese speaker who has lived his whole life in Portugal, as you can probably see from the picture. Though the germans probably think I'm turkish. Ack!
I was a decent student in high school but I really feel the need to attribute my english skills to 10 years of heavy internet use!
Got a fair bit of an accent though - some people say that portuguese is like spanish spoken by a russian. If you ever happen to meet this horrible geek in person, you'll see! Or hear! *grin*

Hmmm, I attribute partial blindness and excessive muscles in my right arm to the same thing. Guess we've been browsing different sites.

Clark Kent was relatively mild-mannered, but he got up to interesting stuff at the weekend!

My goodness. I guess every year you need a larger, and larger screen.

My guess would be a wrist support rather than a bigger screen. ph34r.gif

Or both.
