Strange posts about buying everyday stuff

A conspiracy to ask lots of stupid questions?

Am I the only one that's noticed TT seems to have been invaded some sort of online flash mob? Apparently people have conspired to post questions about where to buy everyday stuff:

watch battery
milk
table cover
blanket

What's next, gasoline? Chewing gum? blink.gif

Seriously- I`ve been looking everywhere in Berlin for a shop that sells sausages. I`ve only been here 20 years. Maybe you can help me

Hey, that's important stuff right there!

I think the problem comes in part due to the fact that Americans have become one-stop shoppers... stores like Target, CostCo, etc that are enormous, and sell everything under the sun. Here you have to find a special shop for every stupid thing. I think I am going to just buy everything online -- I hate shopping.

Thanks to TT, while I didn't find vanilla extract at the grocery store (as you would in the States), I found a vanilla bean and a small bottle of grappa, and I'll be making my own. great idea! Keep up the good work, folks.

So what is the TT equivalent for Germans? Is there an online forum in German, for Germans, about where to get stuff in Germany? Do let us know; maybe it's more friendly there. tongue.gif

Not to mention the large amount of shopping done online in the US/by Americans.

I wouldn't know - I get all my questions answered here tongue.gif

My wife's been following a few German discussion boards. I can't stand them. They tend to be populated by pretty serious know-it-alls... But that's another thread.
