Rock Bars or Clubs in the Center or Schwabing

Can anyone recommend any bars/clubs playing rock music including live?

We played our first gig there. Also a heavy rock club. Weird clientelle, but some very scantilly clad women. Expect to find allsorts. Don't go if you can't handle men kissing each other on the dancefloor next to you

Schwabinger Podium has rock music. Wagnerstraße 1 (corner Siegesstraße), right near Münchner Freiheit.

atomic cafe is ok and its central, and went to a place called back stage on the weekend, problem is i cant remember where it is or how to get there...sorry, but it was good, well what i remebeer...

I'd also recommend the Podium as it is a good old git bar. Bands like "Spider Murphy Gang" (as in "Schickeria", the song you will hear every year at the Wies'n in every tent) play there and you can also see every FC Bayern match there on Premiere.
Schwabinger 7 does play some rock (and punk and industrial and anything else they fancy - but it is all heavy).

You might want to try the Keller too in the Optimolwerke...They have some good stuff.

or in Schwabing, Prager Frühling (aimüller str.)as they have live bands too.
