Registering a .de domain name from abroad

Hi
I am unfortunately still living in ireland I am trying at the moment to register german domain names (.de) for a couple of projects I am working on
However in order to register them I need a german address
Basically I am wondering if anyone can lend me their address to put on the form
Its just the address not number or name or anything else

Bear in mind that most (if not all) .de domain registrars will require you to pay the registration fee from a German bank account.

Can't you just make it up? They aren't going to post you anything, in my experience.

I have my old address in berlin
I can rent an address too which I might do but I want to make sure its worth it.

I thought i could pay for it with with paypal no one mentioned to me anything about a german bank account

The easiest, legal, way for you is to buy a PO Box in Germany (but as mentioned, very likely that you will also need a German bank account).

Check the http://www.post.de site.

I don't believe it is true that you need a German address to register a .de domain.

Try a registrar like www.gandi.net.

I've registered a number of .de domains and used an Irish address. Paid for by credit card, with all invoices being in email form.

(I obviously do have a french domain but then that is the joy of this interwebby game)

I used register365.com and europeregister.com.

Indeed I can see that gay-sex-with-yeti.de has already been snapped up.

That's not a very good example as I am only using it as a redirect to both my shaving fetish site and my free depilatory lubricant site.
