It's almost over. November 4... after that, it's only the swearing in January 20th... and then 4 years of well... whatever the elected person decides to do... and we start it all over again.

Keep an eye on the other threads where this is posted cause many States are updating (uh, clarifying) their own rules about how the emergency ballot is to be properly submitted. Also, States such as Mass. and New York have declared that ballots are being sent late and suggest people use an emergency ballot NOW!

I mailed my ballot about 5 days before the election, anyone know the cutoff date for ballots (not that it matters too much

Depends on the state. Some say it has to arrive by Election Day, others say it just has to be postmarked no later than Election Day.
