Last week I went to this modern ballet and thoroughly recommend it. A link to this is http://www.bayerisches.staatsballett.de/c...b.php?dom=dom2&. In general, William Forsythe is considered one of the best modern dance choreographers/directors. He was employed for years by Frankfurt, until they made a surprising decision not to renew his contract, which resulted in an immediate decline in their international prestige. He is known for his ability to tell stories thorugh his movements of the body. He will spell out words with the movements or repeat shapes through different body parts. But this show as actually done by students of his and not him directly, but I was not able to tell a difference. It is in three acts and the final act is amazing with over forty dancers on stage at once with such a compley interaction with variations of themes of movements floating amoung differnt groups of people that it is quite mesmerising. Highly recommend it...plus could be a great gift for the holidays!!
